Homebuilding shows not to be missed in 2017

The new year is well under way and that means a whole new calendar of events to get into the diary. For those with an interest in home design and interiors, it’s the range of home shows that are of the most interest. Whether you’re planning to renovate an investment property, or you’re looking to upgrade or futureproof your own home, there are plenty of shows to attend for ideas and inspiration.

Build It Live – Kent Event Centre – 4th-5th February

Build It Live is an essential event for those with ideas for self build, renovation or making changes to a home – the ultimate of the homebuilding shows. With 100s of exhibitors (including Gartec Home Lifts on stand B10!), as well as a range of workshops and seminars, the event is a goldmine of free information on how to perfect your property. You can ask the experts what their top tips are for your 2017 projects and there is information and insights on everything from the process of a new build project, through to eco building and how to find your dream plot.

EcoBuild – Excel London – 7th-9th March

EcoBuild is designed to be “inspiring, informing and connecting the entire built environment with solutions to build better communities.” This is an essential event for those with a focus on sustainability and smart design and attracts everyone from architects, to local government. The theme for the show this year is regeneration and there will be an exhibit called Regeneration Drive that will run through the middle of EcoBuild, providing a link between different areas of the show and generating inspiration, innovation and creativity across the built environment. Home Build & Renovate – NEC Birmingham – 23rd-26th March

The first of the Homebuilding Shows takes place at the NEC in Birmingham in March with a wide range of exhibitors and talks on essential home build topics, including innovative product ideas, self build and renovation. Free one on one consultations with experts, as well as the opportunity to handle, ask questions about and appreciate, products in real life make this a show not to be missed. Home Build and Renovate – Sandown Park, Surrey – 1st-2nd July

In the summer when the Homebuilding Show comes to Surrey, there will be exhibitions, talks and insights for all home builders, no matter what stage the project has reached. One on one sessions will be available with architects and builders, and free seminars will be running throughout the day. Answers to common self building questions, as well as advice from the experts and the chance to compare and interact with thousands of products together combine to create a unique opportunity for home builders to get ahead.
