Home shows to add to your calendar
2016 is well under way and if this is the year you’re planning to make changes to your home – or even build your own – then the schedule of home shows taking place around the UK over the next 12 months will no doubt be of interest. Gartec will be attending the Build It Live show in Bluewater, Kent on 6-7 February to showcase our domestic lifts and we’d encourage you to come along and visit us – there are free tickets available via our website. The Ideal Home Show 18th March – 3rd April
Widely renowned as an essential visit for anyone with plans for their interiors this year, The Ideal Home Show offers information, advice, demos and tips from some of the biggest names in the business. See inspirational show homes, get up to date on the latest technology and compose your perfect interiors from those on show. There’s also a focus on home improvements, helping you find the products and solutions to create the space you want to live in.
The Home Building and Renovating Show – venues across the country from April – November
Ideas, advice, products and interior design solutions are on offer across the Home Building and Renovating Show, which moves around the country throughout the year to locations such as Glasgow, Surrey, Somerset and London. Face to face consultations and specialist master classes are ideal for overcoming home build issues that may be holding projects up and exhibitors cover everything from hand crafted designs to the latest home tech. Grand Designs Live 30th April – 8th May
You may have watched the Channel 4 TV programme and been inspired by what you saw, well Grand Designs Live is the opportunity to take all that inspiration and start turning it into a reality. Presented by Kevin McCloud, the nine day event provides the chance to see all the latest trends, from interiors to bathrooms, as well as getting expert free advice from industry experts.
EcoBuild 8th – 10th March
We will also be at EcoBuild on the 9th March, which brings together professionals and anyone who is interested in the construction and energy market, offering advice and information to those looking to create builds that are focused on wellness, energy efficiency, cutting edge technology and renewables. Inspirational speakers, learning hubs and interactive attractions provide plenty of opportunity to connect, network and learn.
