OUR STORY SO FAR…
Gartec Lifts started out as a small lift company in Aylesbury, with a team of just 5 people, in 1994. Going from strength to strength, Gartec was then purchased by our Swedish lift manufacturer, Aritco Lifts, and took off!
The 7000 platform lift became the key player in the mix and has been installed in thousands of buildings across the UK.
2019: CELEBRATING LIFT INDUSTRY EXCELLENCE
GROWING AND IMPROVING
Gartec made some changes during growth, with a new Managing Director taking a leading role and improving the company culture and ethos. Our home lift division was created to provide extra care in homeowner buildings, and our servicing and maintenance team was born.
Spare parts and trade sales became a bigger part of the business, and our offices were turned into a showroom for the 6000, 7000 and Smart HomeLift models.
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS…
With our parent company behind us, and working closely with our industry associations LEIA and EPSA, our company has grown to include over 50 staff members.
We now have a nationwide network of engineers and installers, and a wider range of lifts – from goods lifts to service lifts, dumb waiters to traction lifts. Our Goods Lift Division, Home Lift Division and Trade Division are thriving!
Now, Gartec are able to help with almost any access project in the UK, with BIM objects and CPD (continung professional development) learning modules helping to educate and support architects and construction teams.
