The Platform Stairlift suits all types of straight staircase in interior or exterior environments. Available with either left- or right-hand fixings, it is joystick operated and folds when not in use.
This makes a brilliant addition to staircases for those who use wheelchairs or whose mobility is otherwise impaired. Operated independently by the user, the joystick is simply moved to indicate the desired direction of travel, and the barrier ramps and arms fold down automatically. Users can stop the lift at any time, and the lift will come to halt automatically if it senses an obstruction ahead. The Platform Stairlift can accommodate a wheelchair comfortably, and is also supplied with a seat.
