Gartec Ltd, the UK's leading supplier of platform lifts, has recently become a wholly owned division of Aritco Lift AB, one of Europe's largest manufacturers of vertical platform lifts.
Aritco, located in Kungsängen, Sweden, exports lift products throughout the world and is one of the fastest growing companies in Sweden. The company has acquired 100% of the shares in Gartec Ltd from founding directors Curt and Patricia Falk. Gartec has distributed Aritco platform lifts in Great Britain for the past 10 years and is today the largest distributor in the UK market. The acquisition will strengthen Aritco’s position in the UK, whilst further improving its understanding of the end customer’s needs.
